Dharma Gate Zen Center

We are kicking off our fall native plant sale season by raising funds for our friends at Dharma Gate Zen! Meet us at their fundraiser plant sale on Saturday, August 10th at "The White House" in Pleasant Ridge! (Find a map on the calendar page at our website!) We hope to see you there! We will be hosting an Introduction to Meditation Class this Saturday, July 27 from 12:30-1:30 pm. This class will cover some of the different forms of Zen Buddhist meditation. We will address a variety of topics that include: how to set up a home practice, methods of sitting, strategies for settling the mind, and the importance of integrating meditation into everyday life.

The class will also include brief guided meditations and there will be opportunities to ask questions along the way. This class is included for our financially supporting Sangha members. Non-supporting members, we ask for a $10 donation. Advance registration is required. Please visit our website to sign up. Space is limited.
