The Wynantskill UFSD is buzzing with excitement to welcome Mrs. Bond back to GD as a part-time Social Worker!

Mrs. Bond, a beloved member of our faculty for years before stepping away on maternity leave, will work side-by-side with our other great Social Worker, Ms. Kohan, and the rest of our mental health team.

Please help us welcome Mrs. Bond back into the GD family!

For our final Faculty and Staff Friday of the school year, we'd like to recognize the awesome Mr. Lantz!

Recently, Mr. Lantz accepted a position as a Vice Principal in the Watervliet City School District. While we're excited for this well-deserved opportunity, we're also incredibly sad to see him go. Over the past five years, Mr. Lantz has taught both 5th and 6th grade, coached numerous sports, and served on a variety of committees that have helped make Gardner-Dickinson a better place.

To celebrate his time at GD, Mr. Barber, Dr. Yodis, and Ms. Toomey surprised him with a custom photo collage puzzle-one of his favorite activities-filled with memories from his years at the school.

Congratulations, Mr. Lantz, and best of luck as you begin this exciting new chapter in your administrative career!

Last week, families gathered for a wonderful ceremony celebrating these soon-to-be high school students. We couldn't be more proud of the lasting impact they've had on our school community and all they've accomplished during their time at GD. We wish them nothing but the best as they continue their educational journeys, and we can't wait to see all they achieve in the years ahead!
