Congratulations to the LCR3 2026 Teacher of the Year finalists!

These amazing educators were selected as finalists from a nominee pool of 65 and make a difference in the lives of our students each day!

This year's winner will be announced in August.

While the halls are void of student voices and fun, there is still work happening at Boone during the summer!! All of the carpet in the lower level classrooms has been ripped out to clear a way for new tile to replace it!! Our office is getting some functional updates as well to help with the flow of traffic. Our offices are also being painted to get a quick refresh!

Keep sending those “Flat Stripes” pictures in to show where you’ve taken him on your adventures!! We love seeing them!

To wrap up our year, our Fifth graders took a stroll down the halls as the rest of the school clapped them out. Feelings of accomplishment is what we hope for our students as they enter this new chapter. While middle school might feel scary and make us nervous, new adventures usually have that effect. This is just the beginning and we can’t wait until they come back as a graduate to walk these same halls in just 7 more years!

Mrs. Anderson has her own sense of accomplishment as she brought up the end of our Fifth graders. She gets to leave with this class as she heads into retirement. Accomplishments are many for her as she has had the chance to influence thousands of lives in her years in education. We wish her all the best as she closes this chapter and begins new ones-whatever they may be!

We are still buzzing from the incredible energy at this year’s Boone Elementary Talent Show. From jaw-dropping musical performances and hilarious comedy routines to gravity-defying gymnastics, our Tigers completely blew us away!

It takes a lot of courage to step onto that stage, and every single student shined brighter than ever. We are so incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and creativity our Tigers showed this afternoon.

Huge shoutout to Mrs Richards who put this unforgettable event together, and thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on our Tigers!
