Mochi has officially been with Partners for Pets longer than any other dog currently in our care. A whopping 289 days. 🤯

For anyone unfamiliar with her story, Mochi came to us in late September 2025 after she was found abandoned with a ratchet strap embedded in her neck. Thankfully, that is all behind her now. She has healed, kept her happy spirit, and has been patiently waiting for her second chance ever since. 💜

✨ Independent and occasionally aloof, with a very breed-typical “I’ll do what you want when I feel like it” attitude

Mochi Moch is truly one special girl. Despite spending more than nine months in our care, she has not shown any signs of kennel deterioration. She is still the same happy, toy-loving goofball she was when she arrived!

That does not mean her adoption is any less urgent. One day in a shelter is already too many, and Mochi’s wait is far past overdue.
