Lucifuge Rofocale is also the darker side of Lucifer. As Lucifer means "Light Bearer" Lucifuge Rofocale means "to flee from light" and I wouldn't exactly say he flees. Just prefers the shadows. Lucifuge is who some people refer to as "The Devil". He is in charge of the treasury of the burning hells. He has an incredible understanding of death and resurrection as well as the arts of Execration works and Necromancy. He is a powerful teacher and educator and will give harsh lessons to those with no respect for the arts he instructs. He can be an incredible guide when walking the Left Handed Path. If you have ever heard anyone say "Make a deal with the devil" well, this is who they would be referring to. Do not take working with this High Prince lightly. Lucifuge is a god of excess and cares little when turning students into examples. Below I have pictured various seals used over the years by various authors as well as some renditions of him. Working with Lucifuge is one way (and a good one) for brokering deals with other Spirits. However, once you agree to work with this High Prince, he will want 50 years of service to him with monthly rituals and offerings. I'm not saying don't do it. I am saying, make sure you really want it. This is an Infernal you can't just turn your back on.

Here is an example of reading Tarot. This particular spread is one I use. Card number 5 is in the center and the first one read. It is the Querant (or Inquirer). In this case, it is the 9 of swords. This resonates with anxieties and traumas acompanied by a seclusion or walling out others. A seclusion that is well utilized how will bring with it a new wisdom, and a prevention of new injuries. Card number 1 and the second card to be read is to the right of the Querant and represents what is working FOR them. Here we have the 10 of cups. This resonates inner happiness and dreams coming true. In a more negative light, it brings about broken dreams and potential domestic issues. Card number 2 and the third one to be read is to the left of the Querant. Here we have the hanged man which resonates self sacrifice and martyrdom. On the flipside, we see a fear of sacrifice or even a senseless one. The hanged man wants the Querant to think deeper about their life's choices. Be willing to see things from another point of view and accept some changes are for the better. Card number 3 is the fourth to be read. This card is what the Querant is doing currently. In this case we have the 4 of cups. This resonates apathy and disconnection. On the flipside, we have CHOOSING happiness. The 4 brings stability but in this case monotony which will tire out and rot. The 4th card and last to be read is the highest probable outcome should the Querant stay the current course. The card drawn for this position is The Lovers card. The Lovers resonates choices, union, and love. On the flip we have indecision, conflict, and ending the relationship. Whatever the choice, the Querants heart is ready for it. It may not feel like it to them, but it most assuredly is. What I pull from this reading is the Querant is forcing themselves to stay in a relationship they don't really want in spite of clear signs both from within themselves and all around them that they shouldn't. This is a form of self sacrifice and a needless one at that.

The advice of the dead here is "Having chosen the direction, proceed without hesitation towards that road. It will probably be the harder road but it will reveal itself without doubt to be the best way to gain what you love."

Prince Vassago can also advise on friends and enemies as well as business deals. Prince Vassago appears in the black mirror as a wind rushed robed figure that is both Angelic and Demonic.
