Sigma Chi Eta Phi Chapter

Today we celebrate the seven founders whose vision, character, and brotherhood established Sigma Chi on June 28, 1855.

Today we honor Benjamin Piatt Runkle for his courageous spirit and idealism, Thomas Cowan Bell for the qualities of learning, William Lewis Lockwood for his honesty and trustworthiness through life, Isaac M. Jordan for being energetic and faithful to every task, Daniel William Cooper as the ruler of the spirit through self-control, Franklin Howard Scobey for his courtesy and loyal friendship, and James Parks Caldwell for remaining true to principle.

May their example continue to inspire every generation of Sigma Chi to lead with courage, integrity, friendship, and honor.
