My family was in town for our annual trip to Erie and the Detroit River. It was another epic year for us. We fished Erie on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Friday and yesterday. Monday we jigged the river. Wednesday and Thursday were busts due to the nasty weather. We had several 20+ fish days on each boat.

The hot baits Tuesday were “Big John Here” and “Psycho Killer”.

Friday it was sunny with stained water, and the best baits were “Gold Digger” and “Lava Lamp”

Yesterday it was raining and dark, so white baits ruled. “Fermi-nuff”, “Pair-a-dice” and “Double Barrel” ruled the day.

“Double Barrel” also caught an 10.8 lb, 30” fish that my uncle is having mounted.

Thanks to Jeremy Bartmann, Chris Bartmann, and my Uncle Mike for making the drive out every year! I also enjoyed meeting their buddy Shannon and Aiden Bartmann also made it out for a couple days this time!

Can’t wait for next year!

It was awesome finally spending some time painting in my new workshop! It was great having everything organized and ready to go. First batch was a big one! 104 in total.

For anyone who tried to purchase a “Gold Digger” recently while I was out, I now have a bunch of them in stock. Sorry for the delay. Moving is a ton of work!!

Had a great time at the Lake St Clair Walleye Association Classic Tournament today. Unfortunately, the fish we found yesterday in practice weren’t there today. We caught a ton of fish, just the wrong size or wrong species.
