Infinite Audio Lessons

Here’s the backstory…

When I was 7 or 8 my dad and eventual music mentors bought me a cheap guitar and amp. I got signed up for lessons but didn’t care about playing guitar at that point and never practiced so that only lasted a few months. That old, red Hondo II strat went under my bed and collected dust for years.

On my 13th birthday, my dad was blasting some Led Zeppelin in the house, which I had grown up with. Something about it hit me differently that day and when the song “The Ocean” came on, that riff lit me up. The attitude and energy of that main riff made me run to my room, pull the old guitar out from under the bed, and start learning that riff by ear. I had it more or less figured out by the end of the day and from that point on I was hooked!
