Very active Atlantic tropical season rolls on. The good news is that there are no threats to land for the next several days. The one to watch is the tropical wave designated as Invest 95L. As of this morning, it has an 80% chance of becoming a tropical depression (eventually would likely be named Lee) and most weather models show this becoming a strong/major hurricane in about 7 to 10 days. It's impossible to know where the storm will go in the long term or if the system will be a threat to the United States. Models are hinting at a recurve out to sea, but there isn't much skill forecasting 10+ days in the future. We will track it.

FYI Citizens has imposed Binding restriction as if 5 pm today, Edison/Florida Peninsula also. no coverages can be bound for these companies at this time. Other carriers will follow soon. stay safe everyone!

FYI, insurance companies are NOT, i repeat NOT sending out roofers to look for damage on your roof. If you have filed a claim you have already been advised as to what to do. This is a SCAM. with the devastation to our south, this is a disgusting attempt to take advantage. Insurance market collapsing here, this could be determined to be FRAUD, please, please be wary of any calls or companies that "stop by"..

When calling for an auto quote, please note there are questions we have to ask..auto insurance is based on You & drivers/members of household...if recently moved from another state, we need that info also. There is no such thing as a Ballpark quote..
