Peace Lutheran Church
Through Jesus Christ, God turns our chorus of complaints into a chorus of praise.
When life goes sideways, or sin and suffering come our way, we will be tempted to blame God.
What God has done is assign the blame back onto his Righteous Son, who pays for the sins and complaints of the world, so that one day all who believe in him will turn to the Father in a chorus of praise and admiration for all that he has done.
You matter because God has claimed you as his own.
The Triune God has created you, redeemed you, and sends you out into the world, not as insignificant, but significant in Christ Jesus. He has commissioned you with a message of the forgiveness of sins, the very message that very person is looking for right now.

On Sunday, after two years of study, Hannah and Kinsley confessed their Christian faith! We're thankful for the many gospel partners who have shared the word with them and the Holy Spirit who has sustained them in faith.
Here are some of the words they wrote about their time studying in Confirmation:
Hannah - "Before Confirmation, I hadn't been able to understand the Bible enough to have a deep theological conversation. But now? I probably could. I'd like to serve God at church by helping out with Sunday School and helping on church work days to keep the church nice and clean."
Kinsley - "Throughout my time going to church, I have always thought of it as a safe place. I have never left church feeling empty but full of joy, knowing my sins are forgiven. I want to serve in Sunday school or by spreading the gospel. I will spread His word and not be scared of how people will view me by showing people the goodness of God."
Join us in thanking the Lord for his gift of faith!
