π Shoutout to our awesome Explorers in the Fire District!
These young people are working on lots of different projects this week.
For example, theyβve been out doing important Fire Hydrant maintenance and giving them a fresh coat of paint. πͺ
Homeowners, these bright red hydrants arenβt just street decorations β they can mean serious savings on your homeowners insurance! Quick access for firefighters can make all the difference in protecting your property and keeping premiums lower.
What if we took it one step further? Consider βadoptingβ a hydrant near your home! Just keep the area around it clean, clear of debris and weeds, or parked cars so our firefighters can get to it fast in an emergency.
A small effort from all of us = safer neighborhoods for everyone.
