🐊 Hey y’all — quick gator heads‑up!
We have an alligator who has taken up residency in our pond. He’s basically the strong, silent type and we’ve never seen him hanging out on the banks… but he is an alligator, so here are a few friendly reminders to keep everyone safe and happy:

No feeding the wildlife — even if he looks like he wants a snack, he’s on a strict “don’t get too comfy with humans” diet.

Skip tossing food or fish scraps into the pond — that’s basically sending a dinner invitation.

Give the water’s edge some space, especially early morning and evening when gators like to do their laps.

Keep pets and kiddos a little back from the shoreline — they don’t understand “gator personal space.”

If you spot him, just wave politely from a distance and let him enjoy his day.
