A Roof Open is a covered outdoor space with completely open sides.

This solution provides protection from direct sun and rain over the covered area while preserving natural airflow, daylight, and a seamless connection to the surrounding landscape.

It is a popular choice for projects that expand outdoor living areas, connecting the home to pools, patios, gardens, and other gathering spaces.

Screen

A Screen preserves everything that makes an Open space so enjoyable—its connection to the outdoors, natural ventilation, and surrounding views—while adding an extra layer of comfort for everyday living.

Architectural screens provide additional privacy without blocking the view, significantly reduce mosquitoes and other insects, and allow fresh air to circulate naturally.

It's important to understand that a Screen is not intended to completely enclose the space. The screens allow airflow and do not fully block cold weather or wind-driven rain.

Because it creates a more private setting, a Screen is often the preferred choice for projects focused on relaxation, family meals, and a more intimate outdoor experience. With the addition of a patio heater, it can also become what is commonly known as a 3-Season Room, extending its usability through much of the year.
