YDH #3839:
So, I don't know what was up with this dryer. It cleaned up fine, but it didn't want to get finished:
1) Take it apart. Clean it up. Put it together.
2) Tested. Error lights!
3) Saw that door switch was not reconnected. Oops!
4) Take it apart. Reconnect door switch
5) Tested. Runs and gets hot, but I don't like the noise level. Hmm.
6) Take it apart. Check the other two rollers and then removed the heater pipe and found a pile of burnt sand.
7) Put it back together. Screw falls down into the drum area.
8 ) Take it back apart to get the screw.
9) Back together. Rotate the drum to check. Notice that the belt is twisted. C'mon! 😭
10) Take it back apart again, straighten the belt, and put it back together.
11) Tested. Much quieter and works just fine. Ready to give away! Whew! ;:) 👍
