Yesterday at the City Council Meeting, this Young King shared a chilling story of an unjust encounter with Trenton Police… tho traumatic… we are all so blessed that he is here to tell it. Then he shared that he didn’t allow it to get in the way of achieving his goals. He recently passed the firefighter’s exam and is eager and excited to give back to his community… enthusiastic about being a role model to the babies coming up behind him. Darren “Freedom” Green… one of my dynamic team members is a powerful mentor to him and so many others introduced him to the council. What a blessing it was to be a witness. I love you, Son. I am so proud of you.
