I have to share.

After Karl died, my worst fear was that he would become irrelevant like an old book read and stashed away in a far corner of a bookcase. Naturally, I learned different. He is very much alive in his relationship with me. He continues to show up not just in memories, but dreams, whispers in nature, stories that people tell. The surprise came to me that he is not only alive to me but to others. He continues to inspire and communicate with people who knew him and people who know him just through his artwork. In the mail a month ago I received this icon prayed by Lynn Herbers. Lynn was inspired by Karl's drawing and prayed this amazing, beautiful icon. I share this with you as a gift to you for this Holy Week. Thank you Lynn. Forever I will cherish this icon.
