So for those of you who don’t know, I recently broke my left thumb.. it was kind of a crazy day. It was mid day, nap time and I was pulling my 5 year olds blanket out from under her because she had it all kinds of twisted and wrapped around her. Well long story short, I heard a snap and I was on the floor. My oldest who was in his room, heard the snap and he came running “what happened” I’m on the floor in tears “gahh I think I broke my thumb” if any of you know me in person, you know I don’t cry in front of people. Especially my kids. About an hour and a half later, we’re at the ER and the the dr came and brought a paper (copy of my x ray) and literally all he said was “you broke it” didn’t introduce himself or anything. I still don’t know how to say his name. Justin made fun of me for 3 days because who breaks their thumb on a blanket 😂. Well after day 3 I went to Bronson Kalamazoo hospital. Did repeat XRay and got a cast put on. It was after that appointment that I transferred myself to U of M in Ann Arbor (or my primary location is Brighton MI) to see the specialist, Dr. Chan. He’s been great with me every step of the way. Come to find out my thumb broke so easily because I have a tumor in the bone 😂 so now, I was in the cast for 6.5 weeks and now they took it off and put me in a brace which I can take off whenever I want. I have been striving towards my goal. Dr Chan gave me an exercise to do. Touch my thumb tip to the tips of the other fingers and slide my thumb down my pinkie when it gets easier. Lemme tell you, it feels so good to be out of the cast, but having stayed straight for almost 7 weeks, it feels so weird and stiff to move. I go back to the specialist in 6 weeks to see if I need surgery to remove the tumor

Gotta love when you get woke up at 4:30 am because someone on this page is liking everything I have posted like ever.. couldn’t pronounce his name so I was forced to block him so I can go back to sleep 😴. I mean it’s 4:30 and he just kept hitting the like button which made my phone go off like crazy. What would you have done
