I’m currently scheduling free presentations for groups of about 10–100 people in the Greenville area.

I have over 20 years of experience supporting home computer users, and I frequently help people before, during, and after computer scam situations. I see these scams firsthand every week, and my goal is to help people recognize the warning signs before they get taken advantage of.

The presentation can be adjusted for your group and usually runs 30–60 minutes. It is especially helpful for older adults, but the information is useful for anyone who uses email, text messages, websites, online banking, or smartphones.

I recommend having your computer on regular maintenance the same way that you have your car on regular maintenance. With a regular checkup I look for programs that could cause you problems, including unexpected remote access programs, malicious browsers, and more.
