When my husband and I merged our families together, we realized our younger kids needed help to build the skills needed to successfully live on their own. Let's face it - things are different now from when we were young! Being an adult is HARD and if you don't know the basics of financial strength, career development, home maintenance, emotional health, and goal management, you will struggle even more.
I've had so many parents, young adults, friends, and family tell me how much they wish they had learned the things we are teaching our YA's (young adults). Some have even asked to join our lessons! I want our future generations to be confident in their abilities so they can tackle the challenges we didn't have to face. We can't do it for them - they are the ones who will move our world forward.

We can all agree - Adulting is HARD!!! How often do we feel like we are failing at it when in reality it's just a small rock we need to step over? Sometimes, the bills are piling up and we feel like it's easier to just give up instead of fixing our budget. Other times, we feel like the home maintenance tasks are never finished.

It's ok to feel frustrated and wishing it would all go away! We just need to remember that we can accomplish anything if we have a strong foundation of basic skills to hold us up when we just want to give up.
