Awhile back I was sitting on the porch when I see a line of vehicles appear, driving in formation. Almost perfect combat intervals.............. For almost 40 years now (I should be used to it) but I still contemplate if I should run or go grab training gear!

Sorry, I've been M,I,A of late. Just life in the training lane! Ever completing circles............ As I always say, there is time to post about it or time to do it. The last several months I've been doing it, so no time to post about it! What started off as a kid who just wanted to train dogs has turned into a grand adventure! I remember a young Jack who used to watch one of his early teachers dogs and kennels while he was training abroad. I asked " Isn't it cool, getting to go all over the world training?" He replied, "It's training fields and hotel rooms. Really, it's not that sexy....." It didn't make since to me at the time. Today, I get it. While cool, the road can be a lonely place and it does start to wear on you. Now, I'm not complaining and life is good. It's just sometimes I don't know if I'm coming or going? I did 4 different states this summer, either teaching, being taught or learning to teach better. When I got back on the block, it was working with students, chores, family and overall catch up. It's a dog trainers life...................
