For this project, I created and managed the strategy, content development, and scheduling. I will say, one of the key things that has made a difference in this strategy is identifying the right key metrics to measure. Also, arming ourselves with patience. Turning a ship around takes time.

With this being e-commerce, there's really nothing else than figuring out what KPIs let you know that people are getting to your site (if that's the only way to make a purchase) and then breaking that down even further. If at all possible, step away from having the purchase being the ultimate goal. That can be overwhelming and unpredictable, especially when you are just starting out. Find the data that can tell how your audience interacts with your business.

Hard not to feel guilty about "lack of productivity". I'm working really hard on changing this narrative for myself. Like most of us, I grew up with capitalistic and white supremacist standards of success, and finally at 36 I'm starting to question their validity and dare I say, rejecting it?
