Your hips and jaw are fascia-connected, and they both store tension, trauma, and emotional residue. When we release the jaw, we’re doing more than relaxing the face—we’re restoring balance to the body and releasing what doesn't serve us.
When the jaw is tight, the pelvis may be holding, too. This fascial connection affects overall alignment, which shows up on your face: uneven tone, asymmetry, or a dropped brow can all be signs of tension.
Tight fascia = poor circulation.
Poor circulation = stagnation.
And stagnation can lead to dull, congested, puffy skin. Supporting release through jaw massage, gentle pelvic tilts, stretching, or even breathwork.
