A hunting scene, woven in silk. 🦌

This signed Isfahan (4'10" Γ— 7'3") is a small masterpiece β€” a floral hunting design on a luminous beige field, framed by a blue border with green, orange, and yellow highlights. Hand-knotted at 529 KPSI in silk and wool on a pure silk foundation, signed by the Davari workshop, one of Isfahan's most respected names.

Isfahan rugs are considered among the very finest Persia produces, and the silk foundation here gives the whole piece a quiet glow. Like-new condition, one-of-a-kind.

Client Story Spotlight: Meet Olga. 🧢

Her first Persian rug memory? Practicing figure-skating routines on the family rug in Czechoslovakia. Today she's a collector of twelve β€” and her latest, an antique garden-panel Bakhtiari, anchors the living room of her mountain log home.

Her tip for fellow collectors: "In today's throw-away society, it's nice to have something that has been around β€” and will be around β€” for a very long time."

(She also swears a Kazak once saved her bedroom floor from a plumbing leak. Swipe for the full story setting.)
