recently had the opportunity to be interviewed for a magazine, i am thankful i had the chance to share my story and what i've been dreaming of these days.

to be quite frank, it was taken back because i no longer truly identify in just one industry or role. now i feel confident to be in a space where my art is truly an extension of my being -- whether that is through photo, writing, or gardening. all of these "things" are creations, because creation is how i connect. it's how i make sense of the world, it's what i believe my purpose is. to express, without the need to justify, explain or make others understand.

so when i am asked "what do i do?" it just doesn't seem simple, yet it is. i am an artist, and my truth is how i heal and how i hope to ripple that effect towards others in the ability to share their truths. behind it all i believe in the power of stories, and honoring them.

reclaiming a part of myself that younger me didn’t even know was possible. returning to dance, best decision i ever made. the art, the movement, the connection. i hold so much gratitude and appreciation to be part of this community. sixteen year old me, would be reeling. not for returning, but for learning joy could exist in this way. doing this alongside my family, just makes it that much more special.
