About Me + Where Toby Leads 🐾

Hi everyone! My name is Elliott (he/him), and I run Where Toby Leads, a dog sitting service here in the Topeka, KS area.

I’ve been dog sitting around Topeka for about a year now and have been lucky enough to make some really great connections with local families and their pups. As things grow, I’m excited to meet even more dogs and clients around the community!

I graduated from the Academy of Pet Careers in St. Charles, Missouri, where I studied professional and specialized dog training alongside my Miniature Australian Shepherd, Toby. While we were there, Toby got to learn things like scent work and agility, which helped him build confidence and really use his brain. I’ve also worked at two doggy daycares, one in Missouri and one here currently in Topeka, where I gained hands-on experience safely managing and supervising groups of dogs with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I am also trained in K9 CPR, am able to administer injectable and pill medications, and have experience with disabled, senior + special need pets!

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I love getting to know each pet individually so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away! I cannot wait to grow these wonderful connections I have made over the past year!
