“your prices are crazy!”
You know what’s crazy? People to expect to pay big store prices for custom made cakes. When you go to those stores you get to “customize” the color you want and the writing on the cake. You get a cake baked who knows when, that arrived frozen since who knows when, and that will be iced with product that comes in a 5+ gallon bucket, in the shade of the color that it comes in.
When you order from a baker your cake is baked for you, it’s not sitting in a box in a freezer. It’s baked from scratch with ingredients you can pronounce and recognize. Your design is what we work with, not a book that we don’t deviate from. Your frosting is also made with ingredients you can pronounce and recognize, and will not have a bunch of preservatives. The color you want? yes, we can match that because your frosting/filling are made from scratch.
So before you say our prices are crazy, consider the price of eggs, butter, milk, sugar and flours. Also consider we use electricity, water and gas. Remember that we use our time and many years of experience to make your cake.
You get what you pay for, and if you want a $30 cake, please don’t waste our time.
