Day 1 Recap | NASCAR Youth Series Dirt Nationals at Blackbird

Blackbird threw everything at us on Day 1, but the team kept digging and we’re ready for a big Saturday.💪

🏁 Heavy Honda 🔒A-main
Madden started P4 and was caught up in a couple of early-race incidents that sent him to the tail of the field. He fought his way back and finished P4.

🏁 Heavy World Formula
After starting P6, a mechanical failure ended our race early with a DNF. Thanks to some late-night work in the pits, we’ll be back for the B Main.

🏁 Heavy 160
A solid run from P3 to P3, but will run in B Main.

🏁 Unrestricted Animal 🔒A-main
One of the highlights of the day! Madden drove from P7 to P2 and will start on the front row outside for the A Main.

🏁 Formula Mod 🔒A-main
Another mechanical issue challenged us during the heat race. We finished P6, but the team got everything repaired and we’re ready to race our way forward when it counts.

We head into Day 2 with 3 cars locked into A Mains and 2 B Mains left to run.
