Join us in collecting donations to support the Community Thanksgiving Dinner Foundation β€” a long-standing Topeka tradition serving meals on Thanksgiving Day since 1968. Together, we can help ensure everyone in our community has a wonderful holiday meal.

President, David Braun is proud to announce the Community Thanksgiving Dinner Foundation (CTDF) will host the 57 th annual Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
β€œWe are excited to announce that the dinner will again be served in the Exhibition Hall at Stormont Vail Event Center – this new partnership provides an excellent kitchen facility and spacious area to serve our guests” says President David.

Meal service begins at 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm in the Exhibition Hall at Stormont Vail Event Center. Deliveries will begin at 9am and conclude at 11:30 am. President David advises β€œthose interested in getting a meal delivered may call the meal hotline at (785) -289-5254, calls will be received beginning November 1st and ending at 4pm on November 22nd .”

β€œWe are thrilled our partnership with the Topeka Fire Department will continue, where non-perishable donations can be dropped off at all participating fire stations in the city,” says President David. Non perishable donations may be dropped off at any Topeka fire station from November 20 to November 25. Non-perishable items needed are canned green beans, canned sweet potatoes, boxed dressing, boxed instant potatoes, canned jellied cranberry sauce, and canned chicken broth.

Cash donations are also needed to offset the cost of the perishable food items. Cash donations accepted at all Corefirst Bank and Trust locations or may be mailed to CTDF; PO BOX 432, Topeka, KS 66601.

Volunteers are needed from Monday, November 25 through Thursday, November 28th. The signup genius to volunteer is listed below.
