Sharing this elegant beauty to kick off 2025! Another great collaboration with . This space presented the perfect opportunity for double islands which created a really great flow into and around the kitchen. That range wall is the LIFE of this space, is it not!! Once again...those cremone bolts nearly gave us an ulcer but my goodness how pretty! We also redesigned the fireplace mantel and added library cabinets to the living room. Just love the owners touch with punches of bright colors, fun patterns and art. All together a cheerful and elegant design that perfectly complements this classic colonial and the wonderful family that lives there.

We'll find a way! This was our attitude when re-imagining the tiny kitchen and dining room in this cottage home. This sweet couple had considered moving but they love their neighbors so much that they were committed to finding a way to stay. We're so glad they called us to help and we can't get over the results!

With leading the renovation we removed a load bearing wall converting two small spaces into one larger room. We also repurposed a couple of windows and for extra light added a beautiful glass door leading to their back porch.

Our biggest challenge when designing the new layout was to keep the space as open as possible while giving this homeowner/chef a great space to work in and entertain. We landed on a deep peninsula in lieu of an island. This allowed us to keep large walkways and add much needed storage with not a space wasted. Imagine our surprise when the owner requested two dishwashers! Yet, with some creative organizing we pulled it off. The matte black appliances and custom vent hood with brass trim compliment the rich elegance of the natural walnut cabinets, creating just the right touch of modern detail in this traditional home.

For dining we opted for a built-in corner banquette with storage. This maximized the seating capacity and kept a spacious walkway into the room. The table and chairs by .interiors are a perfect fit!

Now to the star of the show, this amazing zellige tile by Diane Horne We are absolutely blown away by this backsplash. The colors, the uniqueness of each one, the way they stop you in your tracks when you walk in the room, just WOW!!

A big hand 👏 to Aden and his crew with Caliber Contracting for doing an awesome job with this renovation. As one of our newer small businesses in Topeka, they are on their way to great things! Thank you also to who's always a pleasure to work with.

Lastly, to Mike & Lori. Thank you so much for trusting us with your project. You made it through with the best attitudes and were absolutely wonderful to work with. Renovations are never easy but I hope you smile and feel it was all worth it.
