UAW Mobis Entertainment Committee

Rumor has it there is a question about the entertainment committee. Apparently I have been blocked from our UAW Mobis page because I did not know about the post until I received a phone call.
To answer the question, I was appointed the chairman of this committee by our former shop Chairman, and I have asked Roberta Noe to help as a co-Chair.

Our Mobis UAW party is scheduled for December 16th at the Local 12 Union Hall on Ashland Ave. Unfortunately, this is the only date that was available for our Christmas Party and it looks like we will be scheduled to work that day. The committee will be meeting every Wednesday between shifts starting the week after Thanksgiving to organize and discuss a way to include both shifts. Any and all suggestions are welcome, and everyone is invited to attend our meetings.
To the committee: You all have worked very hard to make these parties memorable and I would like to thank you for all the time and effort you have contributed each year. You are awesome!!

We're planning our Christmas Party on Dec. 16th at Local 12 UAW on Ashland Ave. Anyone wanting to get involved or if you have any suggestions, we are meeting next Wednesday, Sept. 27th in the cafeteria between shifts. All are welcome to join

We are currently running a raffle to make Christmas a little easier for two possible winners. Tickets are selling at 1/$1, 7/$5, 15/$10, 30/$20. We will draw two tickets on Dec. 19th and each ticket holder will win 1/2 of whatever we have earned in ticket sales. Even though your Entertainment Committee is sponsoring this raffle, we are not making any money this time. All the sales will go to the two winning ticket holders. The last time we held this raffle (3-4 years ago), the total amount split was well over $1300. Let's see if we can break that amount this year. GOOD LUCK!!
