Crews continue working to restore service to customers impacted by last night's severe storms. Power has been restored to approximately 91% of affected customers across FirstEnergy's Ohio footprint. Crews will continue working 24/7 to restore power to all customers still without service.

At this time, we expect to restore service to the majority of remaining customers by tomorrow evening. Many customers will have service restored sooner, depending on the level of damage in your area.

These times will continue to be updated as we receive updates from the field. You can also text STAT to 544487 for an update specific to your location.

⚠️ Stay alert for downed or low-hanging power lines and storm debris. Remain at least 30 feet away and call 911 to report a downed line.

Our crews have made significant progress restoring power following last night’s severe storms that caused tree and equipment damage across many communities. Since the storms passed, crews have been working around the clock to assess damage, make repairs and restore service. Crews have already restored power to approximately 70% of impacted customers across FirstEnergy's Ohio footprint.

After working through several days of extreme heat, crews continue to work around the clock to restore power to customers currently without service. We are also closely monitoring the potential for more severe weather and are ready to respond should additional outages occur.
