Here’s your friendly reminder that blue duct tape is not appropriate for water applications. You have to use the gray duct tape for water applications because the adhesive that they use on the back is more resistant to water.

Just kidding duct tape of any color is never acceptable for plumbing fixes.

Cracks come in all shapes and sizes. Most of what people think are catastrophic cracks are really just nothing more than 2 pieces of drywall butted up together or a weak point in the wall system.

I often tell people your house isn’t going to fall over just because you bought it and it’s certainly not going to fall over because your drywall cracked at the seam.
