I’m still glowing from the joy of stepping into Anne Boleyn’s shoes this season at the Texas Renaissance Festival. There’s something electric about embodying a woman so sharp, so radiant, so beautifully complicated—and doing it in a gown I made with my own hands. Every bead, every pleat, every hour bent over fabric felt like conjuring her spirit. And for it to be historically accurate is just the cherry on top of all my hard work. (PS. I’m pinned into my gown, big squeeee)

Thank you to the cast who make court feel like home, and to the behind-the-scenes magic-makers who bring this world to life. I can’t wait for the rest of the season and stir up a little more Tudor mischief.
