🇺🇸❤️ What a busy...but incredibly fun week at Small World Day Care! ❤️🇺🇸

This week, we had the honor of hosting our Grillin' & Chillin' with Our 1st Responders luncheon. 🚒🚓🚑 We were so thankful for the opportunity to show a small token of appreciation to some of our local heroes. A heartfelt thank you to our firefighters, EMS personnel, sheriff's deputies and police officers for everything you do to keep our community safe. Your service and sacrifice do not go unnoticed! ❤️

The fun didn't stop there! Our children enjoyed a week full of exciting summer activities, including: 🍿 Movie Day 🍧 Pelican Snowballs 🏰 Bounce House fun 💦 Water Day ☀️ Fun in the Sun with outdoor lawn games for our Summer Camp crew!

We can't believe we're already halfway through Summer Camp! So far, our campers have explored the Danville Science Center, visited the Museum of Life and Science, enjoyed adventures at the Eno River, participated in hands-on science experiments, discovered new weekly themes, made new friends, and created memories that will last a lifetime. And we're just getting started—we can't wait to see what the second half of Summer Camp has in store!

Small World Spring Spirit Week was such an adventurous and fun-filled week! From Flower Power 🌸, Sun Day ☀️, Insect Day 🐞, Rainbow Day 🌈, to Earth Day 🌍, our children had an amazing time learning, laughing, and celebrating together.

We enjoyed sweet moments with outdoor picnics 🧺 and getting our hands dirty planting flowers 🌼, creating memories that truly brought the beauty of spring to life.

A special thank you to the Person County Public Library for joining us on Earth Day and sharing a wonderful story in honor of National Library Week. We truly appreciate your time and support in making the day extra meaningful for our children. 💛

While we celebrated, we also experienced a heavy loss this week. We mourn the passing of a former Small World child who touched so many hearts in our community. He always made it a point to stop by and check on his teachers, leaving smiles wherever he went. His kindness and spirit will never be forgotten.
