✨ Watching a custom rug come to life is one of our favorite parts of the process!

These three photos show the progression of this beautiful custom 6'8" round as each new row is carefully braided and hand-laced into place. Every round grows one row at a time, and it's always exciting to see the design really start to come together.

This one is almost finished, and we can't wait to share the completed piece with you!

When our client was furnishing her beautiful New Hampshire lakehouse, she selected our in-stock Morgan braided rug and, at the very same time, asked us to create two custom coordinating round rugs to complement it.

On the braiding table now is a beautiful 3'5" x 8' Octalong braided rug being created for one of our loyal customers. This custom piece will feature a soft blend of blues, beiges, and browns—a timeless combination that brings warmth and comfort to any space.

We're especially excited about this one because we absolutely love the Octalong shape! Its unique design adds character and elegance while showcasing the beauty of handcrafted braiding.

The fabric has been selected, the planning is complete, and the transformation is about to begin. We can't wait to watch these colors come together and share the progress with you along the way.

✨ One of Our Favorite Recent Projects! ✨

We recently completed this custom stair runner for one of our favorite clients, and we loved how it turned out so much that we just had to share it from every angle! 😍

Not only does this runner add warmth, texture, and character to the staircase, but the installation is just as impressive. Our client is incredibly handy and tackled the installation himself—and we have to say, we're seriously impressed with the results! 👏

It's always rewarding to see our handcrafted braided rugs become part of a home's story, and this project is a perfect example of how a custom stair runner can transform a space.

🧵✨ A New Custom Hit-or-Miss Rug is Underway! ✨🧵

We've just started work on a custom 9' x 11' hit-or-miss braided rug here in the shop, and we couldn't be more excited about this one!

Hit-or-miss rugs are considered the original braided rugs. Years ago, families would gather whatever fabric scraps they had on hand and stitch them together completely at random, creating one-of-a-kind rugs full of character and history.

While we're honoring that tradition, this rug takes a slightly different approach. Instead of using random scraps, we've carefully selected a custom color palette. Each piece of wool is cut into small sections by hand, stitched together into long strips, and then rolled up before heading to the braiding machine.

It's a labor-intensive process with a lot of time and craftsmanship behind every step—but we believe the finished rug is going to be absolutely stunning.
