Our weaving group resumes this week on Thursday, September 18th, from 1-3 pm at the Tigard Library Technology Room on the 2nd floor. This group is open to everyone.

We will have a demonstration of hybrid warping. This method uses a warping board (or clamps on the edge of your tabletop) with the warp tied onto your loom and going through the heddle, just like in direct warping. It's a great space saver for long warps.

If you are curious about weaving on a rigid heddle loom please stop by - we will have several models in use (as well as a very unique Clover loom) and are happy to take questions and let you try it for yourself!

If you have extra yarn you don't want please bring it to swap and share. If you are a Portland Handweavers Guild member keep in mind that the "Weftover" sale will be held Oct. 11.
