Mary doubted. Joseph hesitated. A forced census disrupted everything. There was no room in Bethlehem. Herod unleashed violence.

Yet somehow… through the confusion, the tension, and the fear — God was at work.
If God’s story began in the mess, then maybe ours can make sense too.

Today we begin a new Advent series called Sacred Detours, looking at how God meets us in the places we never planned to be.
