Nigeria Ends OIS Visa Services in the United States
The Nigeria Immigration Service has officially announced the immediate disengagement of Online Integrated Solutions (OIS Services) as the operator of Nigeria’s Visa Application and Submission Centres across the United States.

This means that Nigerians in the diaspora and other travellers who need a Nigerian visa can no longer submit their applications through OIS Services.

Instead, all visa applications must now be submitted directly at:
The Embassy of Nigeria in Washington, D.C.
The Nigerian Consulate in New York
The Nigerian Consulate in Atlanta

The Consulate General of Nigeria in New York has also confirmed that OIS has stopped collecting and submitting visa applications on behalf of the Nigerian government.

For years, OIS handled visa processing, biometric capture, and document submissions for applicants across several U.S. cities, including Washington, Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New Jersey.

So far, the Nigeria Immigration Service has not disclosed the reason behind the sudden decision.

If you have already started a visa application through OIS or plan to travel to Nigeria soon, you are advised to contact the Nigerian Embassy or the nearest Consulate for updated guidance.
