As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, a fascinating piece of American history is coming to light thanks to Fordham faculty expertise. 🇺🇸
Robb Haberman, PhD, a history instructor at Fordham, was recently granted exclusive access by the descendants of Revolutionary War soldier James Selkirk to edit and publish his rare, firsthand memoir. Unlike most accounts written by high-ranking officers, Selkirk’s diary offers a gritty, authentic look at the sacrifices made by rank-and-file soldiers, including enduring brutal New York winters and advocating for veterans' rights.

From the beauty of our campus in the Bronx to the beauty in the heart of Manhattan and the beauty of our Jesuit traditions, we take time to honor as members from Fordham’s A Ca****la groups join together to sing "America the Beautiful." 🇺🇸🐏❤️

Welcome to the Ramily, Pope Leo XIV!

When Christopher Carrino Jr. ’26 arrived at Rose Hill, he knew that following a legendary name would take immense hard work.
Growing up as the son of newly minted Hall of Fame broadcaster Chris Carrino ’92, Christopher’s goal was always to find his own distinct voice. Over the last four years, he did exactly that by treating WFUV Sports not just as a campus radio station, but as a professional launchpad.
While the seats in Keating Hall haven't changed much since his father's time on campus, the scope of hands-on opportunities for our students has completely transformed. Christopher Jr. is graduating not just with a degree, but with the real-world portfolio required to shape the future of sports media, including live reporting from Radio Row at Super Bowl LX in California, covering professional media pools at Yankee Stadium and MSG, and more.

The World Cup has officially arrived! ⚽🇺🇸
At Fordham, our student-athletes bring distinct international heritages, diverse perspectives, and a shared passion for leadership to the pitch. In our latest feature, players from our Division I men’s and women’s soccer team, representing fields of study from Finance at the Gabelli School of Business to International Political Economy, share their home-country loyalties and the surprise teams they think could go all the way this summer.
Check out how these future business and civic leaders are translating their unique cultural heritages, spanning Argentina, Croatia, Colombia, and Sweden, into their tournament brackets:
