Join esteemed Emmy award winner, Caridad De La Luz (LA BRUJA), and executive director of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, for a special poetry workshop.

The Nuyorican Workshop will include some history of the Nuyorican poetry movement and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, several writing prompts, a performance by the poet/Teaching Artist, and time for the entire group to share, open-mic style. Registration is encouraged to help us determine space allocation.
