Hats off to Demi, one of our very special first BBS mentors, who just graduated from SUNY New Paltz with her Bachelors in African American/Black Studies! Demi shares, "In my experience with BOLD there has never been a dull moment. I have been strongly encouraged to try new things, ask questions, and be myself in the most unapologetic way despite any outside factors. I am blessed to have learned that it takes a village to not only get you through the good times, but also through the good times, and luckily, BOLD has become part of my family's village.
