Anthony is a firefighter and critical care paramedic with the City of Baytown - Government and a member of the Bay Area SWAT team — a Midwest transplant who has spent 15 years accumulating the kind of varied experience that makes him genuinely hard to categorize. He is a graduate of Mercy College of Health Sciences and the University of Iowa EMS LRC, and is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Texas A&M University.

In recent years he has added conference speaker and FOAM contributor to that list, publishing blog articles and making appearances across the EMS education space.
