🐾 A Little Reminder From Your Groomer Friends at Dirty Dogs 🐾
We know life happens. Cars break down, work runs late, kids get sick, and sometimes things simply slip your mind. We completely understand! ❤️
If you need to cancel or reschedule your dog’s grooming appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
Here’s why it matters:
✂️ Groomers are different from many other businesses—we only get paid when a dog is on our table. If a client doesn’t show up, that appointment time sits empty and becomes income we can’t replace.
🐶 We often have a waiting list of pups who would love that grooming spot. A quick phone call or message gives us the opportunity to help another furry friend get cleaned up and looking their best.
⏰ Even a few hours’ notice can make a huge difference!
We’re not upset when plans change—we just appreciate communication. It helps us keep our schedules running smoothly, care for more dogs, and continue providing the best service possible to our amazing clients.
Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who show up on time and keep us informed when things come up. We truly appreciate you! ❤️🐾
Remember: If you can’t make it, just give us a shout. Your groomer (and the pup waiting for an opening) will thank you! 🐕✨

I want to say sorry to everyone that we needed to reschedule appointments this morning.
I had a fire in the meter box and having to have new line run.
I promise, I rather have been enjoying working than trying to get dogs out and home unfinished.
We will be rescheduling as soon as we have power back.

🐶✂️ “But I JUST had him groomed!” ✂️🐶
We hear it all the time…
3 weeks after a groom:
👩 “Why is Fluffy matted already?!”
Well… imagine paying for a beautiful salon haircut and then not brushing your hair for a month. You’d look like you lost a fight with a tumbleweed too! 😂
If you love keeping your pup fluffy and long-haired, brushing and combing between grooming appointments isn’t optional—it’s essential!
🐾 Brushing helps:
✔️ Prevent painful mats and tangles
✔️ Keep the coat clean and healthy
✔️ Reduce shedding
✔️ Make future grooming appointments easier and more comfortable
Here’s the catch: A brush alone isn’t enough! Many brushes glide right over hidden tangles. Always follow up with a comb to make sure you’re getting all the way down to the skin.
Think of it this way:
🪮 If the comb won’t go through, neither can we!
A few minutes of brushing several times a week can save your dog from discomfort, save you from extra grooming charges, and help keep that beautiful long coat you’ve worked so hard to grow out.
Your dog’s coat is like a sweater they wear 24/7. A little maintenance goes a long way! ❤️
