Snippet of tonight chapter:

"Come on, guys, let's go celebrate Serenity's 21st birthday. That's a big milestone, even though she's not here with us.” Camila's bubbly voice suggested.

“That doesn't sound like a bad idea. Plus, we can go to Dark World Nightclub to check on our establishment. We can see it from a customer point of view.” Lillian quipped.

I sat back on the couch. Nothing these past two years has thrilled me since Serenity left. I had focused all my energy on combat training, lifting weights, and transitioning to Alpha.

I glanced between the pair of puppy eyes staring at me and said, “Fine, we can go.” They jump up and down, squealing.

If it weren't for it being Serenity's birthday, I wouldn't entertain the idea of going to the club to party and having bi**os throw themselves at me.

Lee handed me a beer and said, “Let the party begin.”

Lee drove us to the nightclub, and the girls had the music turned all the way up; the music was heard outside the vehicle. The bass was rattling the door and my brain.

The valet took the keys to the truck and escorted us through the VIP entrance. There were three rooms to choose from, so I picked the first one. It had a great view of the dance floor. I could watch over the girls from here, even though I knew the guys had it covered.

The dance floor was full to the brim, and the hottest music played throughout the club. The waiter brought us a bucket of beers and mixed drinks. I grabbed a beer and laid back on the couch, tossing my arms over the back. I took a long swig when I felt like someone was watching us. I saw this fiery redhead looking our way.

Jasper perked up for the first time in a while, coming to the forefront to see what I was staring at. I sat upright to get a better look at her through the foggy atmosphere of the club. There was this magnetic pull in her direction. I wanted to kiss those pump-shiny lips and touch her heated flesh.

“Tay, do you know her or something? She is staring mighty hard over here.” Lillian nudged me, breaking my eye contact with that redhead.

“No.” I shrugged my shoulders. That has been my answer to everything lately.

My gaze followed her and her boyfriend to the dance floor. When she commenced rolling her hips against her boyfriend, Jasper took control and stalked towards them. A low, menacing growl left my mouth.

Gripping the guy backward, “Yo, what the f**k, dude?” The guy screamed at me.

“Get the hell away from her.” I hovered over him. I dare him to challenge me. In his current state, he wouldn't be much of a challenge. He turned and vanished within the crowd.

I stood behind her and held her by the hip. The electrifying tingles returned. I haven't felt them since Serenity. She backed up on me and began to bounce her ass on my dick. It grew harder the more she grinded on me.

“Be a good girl and behave.” I nibbled on her ear, hoping to catch her scent. All that invaded my nostrils was a strong stench of alcohol. “Who are you?”

She turned and faced me, placing her arms around my neck. “I'm whomever you want me to be tonight,” her soft voice said....
