Happy Friday! ☀️

It’s a new year which means it’s time for an introduction post. This year I wanted to do things a little differently. So it’s not just photos of me with a camera being like hello I’m a photographer because duh, if you follow me you know that. 😂

This year I wanted to show me with my family, because family is so important to who I am and what I’m all about. I have a very large family, with so many layers.
- Did you know I have 4 siblings ranging in age from 33 to 10?
- What about that I’m originally from Montana, and my mom and older sister and her family live there?
- Or last fun fact, when we were little my aunt used sneak us out of the house at midnight and take my cousin, sister and I to Denny’s at midnight for fun while our parents we sleeping.

There’s so many little memories and tidbits about us that make us who we are. Sometimes we get so caught up in selling ourselves to potential clients that we stop seeing ourselves as humans that belong to our own lives and families.

It’s officially Christmas season! Which means all the lights, songs, baking, movies, and cozy holiday traditions. 🎄✨

My favorite? Definitely the baking. I’ve always loved making cookies and festive treats, especially the cinnamon roll cookies I’ve baked every year for the past three seasons. If you know, you know. 🍪

When I host Holiday minis I always make sure to include my own family because they are great models and they make it fun to take photos. They’re goofy and that makes for the most genuine photos (swipe all the way to the end for a true sibling photo 😂)

Be ready for so many mini posts incoming! I’m so grateful for you all year after year booking with me. I truly appreciate you more than you know.

Also if a mini is not your style you’re wanting a full session, I do have a few dates available with images back before Christmas.

I’m back! 😁And I’m sure you weren’t expecting to see a landscape photo as my first one back. But I just had to share me experiencing actual fall for the first time in years 😂

New York City was something else, a very different pace of life. It was chaotic and overwhelming at first but there’s something about it that’s magical. I came back feeling refreshed and like I finally feel my spark coming back. It’s been an interesting few months where I almost wanted to hang the camera up for good 😣 but I think I’m ready to get back into my creative self.

I think the lesson here is to take a step back when life gets too crazy, and you might just find yourself again. 💕
