Granite shower walls and travertine floors take daily wear from water, soap, and everything else life throws at them. This Tempe shower came to us needing a reset. We hand-scrubbed the granite, the floor pan, and all the grout, then saturated everything with a commercial sealer. The stone's protected now, and it looks the way it should.

Does your shower need the same care? Let us know in the comments or give us a call.

A plumber had to cut through wood-look plank tile to reach galvanized plumbing. The homeowner in Scottsdale had been smart—he'd kept extra tiles for situations exactly like this. He hired a tile contractor. The repair didn't meet his expectations. He hired a second contractor. Same result.

Finally, he reached out to Beyond Stone Solutions.

Here's what the first two contractors missed: proper substrate preparation. To ensure lasting adhesion, we scraped away all existing thinset and mastic residue—not just from the slab, but from the edges of surrounding tiles. In the kitchen, we discovered the substrate wasn't level. Some installers try to compensate with extra thinset, but that shortcut leads to loose grout and cracked tiles down the road.

We did it right. We poured flowable hydraulic cement underlayment, monitored it carefully as it cured, and only then installed the new tile. We repeated the same meticulous process in both bathrooms. Where existing tile had to be cut, we made those transitions at doorways and closets—places where the eye expects to see a seam.

Since 1976, Beyond Stone Solutions has been the team Arizona homeowners call when the job needs to be done right the first time—or corrected after others have tried.
