TJ is a proud graduate of the W. P. Carey School of Business (2016), where he earned degrees in Accountancy and Economics, and holds an MBA from the Wharton School (2022). TJ serves as an Engagement Manager and Fellow at the McKinsey Global Institute, where he leads research on development economics - covering topics like food security, aging, and inequality. TJ has been involved with AMI for over a decade - as a student, alumnus, and now board advisor—staying connected to Arizona’s small business community and mentoring new generations of inspiring ASU students. We’re so grateful for all the time and support he has provided for AMI.

We are thrilled to announce Sam Benavidez as our March Member of the Month! Sam is our dedicated Director of Finance who is always seeking new opportunities for AMI in areas such as grant writing, allowing us to further our impact. Previously, Sam served as the Head of Internal Development, and since then his involvement has only grown. Sam's willingness to take the initiative and attend community events are just a few of the reasons we are so grateful to have him on our staff. Thank you, Sam!
