The Chalk Princess

My first Madonnari festival in Italy. 🇮🇹✨

This tradition honors the roots of chalk art, where artists create sacred images on the street for the community. To take part in that history at Concorso dei Madonnari was incredibly meaningful. ❤️

This year, artists were inspired by St. Francis. I chalked the story of St. Francis and the wolf. 🐺 We survived thunderstorms, but the lights and beauty of Nocera kept us going! 🎆

Receiving the public first place prize was such an honor, but the experience itself is what I’ll remember most. 🌟

I’m so grateful to the volunteers, the church, the organizers, and everyone who made this festival so special. 🕊️

I chalked Dumbo 8 years ago at a local chalk art festival. I remember looking around thinking I would never be as good as some of the artists there.

As Timothy Mouse would say, don’t let your fears hold you back. 🪶 Now I’m chalking my favorite little elephant at Disney World! 💫

Ask the questions, try new things, and make friendships along the way! 🎨 Chalk friends are the best. I promise. 😆
