My first Madonnari festival in Italy. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นโœจ

This tradition honors the roots of chalk art, where artists create sacred images on the street for the community. To take part in that history at Concorso dei Madonnari was incredibly meaningful. โค๏ธ

This year, artists were inspired by St. Francis. I chalked the story of St. Francis and the wolf. ๐Ÿบ We survived thunderstorms, but the lights and beauty of Nocera kept us going! ๐ŸŽ†

Receiving the public first place prize was such an honor, but the experience itself is what Iโ€™ll remember most. ๐ŸŒŸ

Iโ€™m so grateful to the volunteers, the church, the organizers, and everyone who made this festival so special. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Grazie mille. โœจ

Chalk family is real! ๐Ÿ’™
They pick you up when you need it most- literally.

So grateful for all the support and love. โ˜€๏ธ
Couldnโ€™t have made it to the finish line without you. ๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

How it started. How itโ€™s going. โœจ๐Ÿ˜

I chalked Dumbo 8 years ago at a local chalk art festival. I remember looking around thinking I would never be as good as some of the artists there.

As Timothy Mouse would say, donโ€™t let your fears hold you back. ๐Ÿชถ Now Iโ€™m chalking my favorite little elephant at Disney World! ๐Ÿ’ซ

Ask the questions, try new things, and make friendships along the way! ๐ŸŽจ Chalk friends are the best. I promise. ๐Ÿ˜†
