2023 Regular Season is Complete as the girls finish ranked 4th in D1 rankings!! wrapped the season with a win over Basha & Corona on Monday with Jr Madeleine Nguyen posting a +1,37 for medalist honors. The Thunder posted another huge win on Tuesday’s Senior Night over Maricopa where Sr Caroline Cox posted a personal best 47 and Jr Whitney Strauss posted a personal best +2,38 to take medalist honors. Well done ladies!! Next up: D1 State Championships next Tues & Wed at Aguila!

⚡️Broke the 2015 9 Hole Team Low Round of 152, by 1 stroke! DVGG shot a combined 151 today and carded 5 personal bests beating out Queen Creek & Mesa Mtn View!!
⚡️Junior Madeleine Nguyen posted a -4, 32 with an eagle and 2 birdies taking medalist honors for the 2nd time this season.
⚡️Junior Jada Young chipped in for birdie from 30 yards out, posting her first ever sub40 round of 39, tying for 3rd with Freshman Jacq Michael.
⚡️Jacq carded back to back birdies on 4 & 5 as well as a water save for par on #9 for a 39.
⚡️Junior Whitney Strauss tied her personal best, 41 and a T5 finish.
⚡️Rounding our 5 was sophomore Lucy Fisher who posted a 48 and taking 9th place.
⚡️Today’s rounds moved the Thunder up one spot in D1 rankings to #4
