Once Upon a Book Club

Thank you so much for being such an incredible supporter of Once Upon a Book Club! Whether you recently joined or have been with us for years, you are the reason we work so hard to create the most memorable and engaging reading experiences possible and we hope you have loved all that you have experienced with us.

2026 is our tenth year and it's off to an incredible start! However, as with most things, the shipping costs associated with our boxes have continued to increase. To ensure that we are able to continue to create beautiful reading experience for our Book Clubbers, we are adjusting our prices to ensure the quality our customers expect from us remains sustainable.

So what's changing?

- Our base subscription price will now be $49.99 per month ($10 decrease)! For current subscribers, this change will take effect with your June 25th renewal.
- Multi-month subscribers will not see this change take effect until your next paid renewal.
- Ready-to-ship shop box prices will be lowered! ($5-$10 decrease per box)
- Current pre-orders (Summer Thrills, The Great Gatsby, Nightmares Halloween, and Magic Halloween) will continue to be offered at the free shipping rate as advertised. Once these pre-orders become ready-to-ship from our warehouse, their prices and shipping rates will be adjusted accordingly. Future pre-orders will follow the new pricing structure.
- All domestic shipping rates will now be calculated at checkout based on location. Shipping costs will be paid at the time of purchase.

We know that for some readers, this will result in a lower cost per box than what is currently being paid while for others, this may result in a slightly higher price per box depending on where in the country you're located. As shipping rates fluctuate, these changes will allow us to adjust accordingly to ensure you're paying accurate shipping costs to your area from our Arizona warehouse!

To implement these changes, our website will be closed starting Saturday, May 30th in the evening and will remain closed until these changes are complete. Any orders placed prior to this closure will be processed under the current 'free shipping' rule.
